bread $3 loaf - $0.50 serving, pastrami $6.00lb - $1.50, provolone $4.00lb - $0.50, cabbage $0.39lb - $0.50, slaw dressing $3.00 bottle - $1.50, frozen french fries $3.00 bag - $0.50, tomato $1.19lb - $0.50 = $25 to feed 6 or about $5 each!

Want the recipe?

Cut about 2lb cabbage into thin strips and coat with the slaw dressing. Cover with plastic wrap and stick in the fridge for a few hours.

Cook the fries per package directions.

After that you’re making a sandwich, it’s not that hard.

bread - pastrami - provolone - slaw - fries - tomato - bread

I add a few healthy dashes of Tobasco to keep me on my toes.

Invite a few good friends over, sit around a giant HD TV, crack open an ice cold IC Light can, and root for the STEELERS!

Homemade and Primanti’s seems oxymoronic, but it’s all good! Dangling off a girder wearing a helmet is optional. Now I want some O fries.

For the amount of money that the city is paying for outsourcing DC parking meter management and the new telephone/smartphone App parking feature the city could get the signs on the street to match the meters. I think this is the sneakiest way to suck money out of unsuspecting residents and our visitors. It is underhanded, disingenuous, and should be illegal - Anybody know what I’m talking about?
